East Haven/Branford: I-95 northbound, Exits 52 to 53, right shoulder closed, 8:00am to 12:00pm.


Monday, September 8, 2008 (Day)

Fairfield: I-95 northbound and southbound, Exits 22 to 24, alternating right lane closed, 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Trumbull: Route 15 northbound and southbound, Exits 46 to 48, alternating lanes closed:
- northbound, 9:00am to 12:00pm
- southbound, 10:00am to 1:00pm

Stamford: Stamford Urban Transitway (SUT) Construction activities over the next month will be occurring in the following locations:
Atlantic Street between the Railroad Bridge and Henry Street
John Street between Dock Street and the old Manhattan Street
Dock Street
Jefferson Street (side opposite the railroad yard) between the east branch canal and Canal Street
Garden Street in the area of the SUT construction
Pacific Street beginning with the SUT construction north to Manhattan Street

Bridgeport to Norwalk: Connecticut Light and Power Co. is resuming installation of underground transmission lines between Bridgeport and Norwalk after the winter construction moratorium on state roads. This project is part of the Middletown/Norwalk project being undertaken with the United Illuminating Co. NY/NJ/CT Metropolitan Region Launches Multi-Modal, Multi-Agency Traveler Assistance System: Travelers in NY, NJ and CT now have access to a traveler information system providing them with transportation and trip planning assistance. With funding from the U.S. DOT, Trips 123 was developed as a public-private partnership by the NYSDOT, TRANSCOM, and NEC Joint Venture. The Trips 123 system currently offers two free services to provide traffic and transit information to the public - Traveler Information Center and TransitAdvisor.
